ALRIGHT THEN. A while ago, I started recording demos with my lovely genius friend Vegar. An hour into our first session I knew I wanted to put a whole EP into his hands. We carried on building our demos and finding our sound, all the while knowing that he was moving back to Norway three months later. Three months passed, he moved and we still wanted to work together, in person. SO we hatched a devious plan. I bought a plane ticket, and a train ticket, and another train ticket. We finished the EP across the North Sea in his hometown of Geilo, Norway. I feel so incredibly lucky. This collection of songs is a time capsule, with our surroundings driving the direction of the tracks and influencing the decisions we made. Me and Vegar have been sitting on these songs for a while, and it’s finally time for them to reach your ears. The first one we made together, “I Feel Better Now”, will be yours this Friday, August 2nd. Loads of love xx

one year ago today was the last day of our tiny little full band tour. we played together for two years - i am forever grateful to these lovely, ridiculously talented friends for having faith in my music and dedicating so much of their time to this project. those times were so special, i miss you all a lot. I’ve been playing solo gigs now for about a year - band members move far far away, jobs and life get in the way. i LOVE the solo gigs, but i want to play with other people again too. more news on that soon perhaps this pic was taken a year ago today, the day before vegar moved back to norway. we all watched interstellar and ate cookies in emma’s living room :) the merch was designed by the amazing @marnie.legg (different marnie:0) - here is a collection of people wearing them. they sold ridiculously fast and are all long gone (yes that’s a brag) but just for the memories xx

before i post about how fucking amazing tour was, there is one person in particular that deserves a special mention. i am gutted to announce that the best keys player in the universe @selfievegar is moving back to his hometown of Geilo, Norway - which happens to be about 1104 miles away from here. while this won’t be the last time we see or work with Vegar, it does mean that unfortunately, we must very ceremoniously and lovingly boot him out the band.
